My Therapy Approach
Mostly by the time you decide to come and see someone about your troubles, there’s a bit of stress happening.
So it’s good to know what to expect.
When you come to see me I want to hear what’s wrong AND what works in your life. I encourage you to use your strengths and to apply these to any challenges you now face.
I use a Family Systems approach to help you understand some of the patterns of both your life and your family.
We will work together to interrupt some of the ways you each behave, think, and interact. In my experience, if one part of a system acts or thinks differently, then something new happens.
I value and respect each person's life experience and encourage and support honest talking.
